Can someone pls share their symptoms. I am very stressed that I have something serious.
Left sided dull constant pain for the past 10 days(about 3 inches left of belly button), (have had SEVERE pain in this area about 5/6 yrs ago but it lasted about an hr) left back pain, grumbling stomach, constipation at times, diarreha right after eating occassionally, gas.
PLEASE send feedback, i am paranoid it is my pancreas as my dad was just diagnosed with this. I dont have an ultra sound scheduled till Thurs and wont get results till TUes.
It is hard to say, I would hesitate to speculate on this until the results of your ultrasound have come back. Also, has your doctor checked out your gallabladder? I'm not saying this is the cause, but it certainly doesn't hurt to rule that out either.
Only after these issues have been ruled out should doctors look at IBS as a cause.
I'm so sorry about your dad. You've been through a lot and as we know, it all affects one's body. I'm presuming you're seeing a gastroenterologist so did he/she prescribe anything to help with your stomach issues (e.g., prescriptions, diet recommendations, etc.)?

Now back to the drawing board. I am sure the stress of losing my Dad has caused these stomach issues.
I saw a GI last yr for an upper endo due to my GERD, it all checked out okay. My regular doc gave me something for stomach "spasms" but it did not help.
Not sure what could be wrong with me??? Perhaps its just all the stress? Now what do I do since I have had an ultra sound?
Getting same problem but on right side instead of left. Painful when I pass urine and also when eat. Been told got ibs but had allergy tests and even ruling them out doesn't seem to help. How r u doing now? Haven't had tests on gallbladder, friend thinks it could be pancrea related I don't know what to think but it really hurts. Really can empathise. R u still having problems? I hope not . TC
