Food gets stuck

My general doctor says I am having spasms of the esophogus. Food often, more times than not, and becoming worse, gets stuck and it feel like I am trying to swallow an elephant....I go and stick my finger down my throat and bring the food up. And if I don't do that it will finally come up on its own and it is a projectile vomiting. I have an appointment with a specialist but that is not until Sept 9th....until then, any suggestions as to what I might eat.

Re: Food gets stuck

dezenes,

Don't eat raw foods in any form!!

I think you lack magnesium in your system. Lacking it can cause spasms as well as cramping. Magnesium is contained in every cell of your body and 66% is in the bones.
It is present in lots of foods but some experts think 75% of people lack it.

Also, alcohol can deplete magnesium from your body and it's not readily replaced.
