constipation and diverticulosis

Recently, and after a colonoscopy, I was diagnosed with diverticulosis, or pockets in my colon. I take Kristolose that prescribed by my doctor (3pks @20mg each) daily in order to have a bowel movement and clean out my colon. I recently started taking acidiopholis (pearls) each day with my multivitamin due to reaccuring yeast infections. Now all of a sudden I am constipated again and my kristolose doesn't seem to be working. Could the addition of the pearls have caused this? I'm only 19 and this is so very frustrating.
