Stomach gas/bloating

In the past few weeks, I have been having painful gas and a bloated stomach. My stomach is so bloated that I look pregnant. To relieve the pressure, I lay on my side and press my stomach until I feel some relief. This only happens in the evening after I eat my dinner. During the night, I also feel the need to release gas. I am generally ok in the daytime. Is this just a normal stomach gas or could it be something else? I am worried because it is so regular and very painful until I can release the gas-buildup. If I dont let the gas go for a few days, it is harder to release. I hope someone can help me as the pain from the gas is getting to be too much. The doctor doesnt seem worried, though.

Re: Stomach gas/bloating

ny,
The gas and bloating that you arehaving coldbe caused by poor digestion. THe friendly bacteria in your intestines is out of balance and needs to be rebalanced.

Eating yogurt, drinking Kefir and taking probiotic supplements can help re-establish the good friendly bacteria-- reducing gas & bloating.
