Please help me? I had enough - Digestive Disorders Message Board

I have been having these terrible chest pain, i don't know if there are burning or pressure like. i just know i have disconfort there. it even goes to the right hand. It goes and come for about 2 to 3 weeks now. The worse part the nausea. Mostly in the morning.I have general malaise, a feeling of illness. I lost appetite, i can't eat without feeling like throwing up. i even sometimes have a headache. I am still going by my daily activities work or other but it makes me feel so sick.I also feel like i have the cold , my throat is king weird. i feel so sick, so tired. i hate the nausea

I had EKG done twice before when i had these episodes but they found nothing, because i thought i was having an heart attack.

i had an upper endoscopy about 2 yrs ago again nothing i was just given some treatments that worked for a while.
and also ultrasound but everything is ok.

now i am back to nexium again.

I am worried this is more than acid reflex or heartburn or gerd.i don't feel like food coming up in my mouth, except that i spit a lot in the morning.

Has anybody ever felt this way what do you do. are these really happening with your acid reflex or heartburn or gerd.

Please tell me, i am so scare and tired of this. the doctors don't really get it!!!
i am only 29 and now i feel like i won't make it to 35.

I posted on someone else's too about this! I was sooooo tired of chest pains that I finally went to ER!! Several EKG's and heart enzyme tests and several other ones all came back normal!! I was thankful, but still uneasey because I knew there had to be a reason for chest pain! Well 3 weeks later (today) I had chest pain that kinda scared me and I said THAT'S IT I'm getting a second opinion!! Well I went in, showed the Doc all the tests that I already had done and he was very shocked that I had had such an intense work up and was still experienceing this! Well I told him that I was researching GERD and that I have symptoms of that...I feel food "sticking", feel it come up, I gag VERY easily, I get tired and have a general feeling of ill like you do. I said my upper back hurts too. He said yes I do beleive you have this! I was shocked and asked, "Are you sure simple GERD can have shooting pains like I have? It doesn't feel like heartburn!" And he insisted YES! He said that when our esophogus spasms from the acid and food it makes all the nerves get going!! I know this made me feel better, and sorry so long, but just want you to know, that after all other tests are fine, yes the aches and pains and other annoying items can be simply from acid and GERD!!
