I am due for the full fundoplication in 2 weeks. Im curious---did anyone have severe breathing difficulty especially during sleep BEFORE having the Nissan Fundoplication?

My severe breathing difficulties were why I had my Nissen Fundoplication 3 months ago. I have had some other challenges since then, but my breathing difficulties got much better. My Pulmonary Function Test this week came back normal.

Hi Benny,

I had the nissam fundoplication 2 years ago. It was the best thing I had done. The most imprtant thing that I can relate to you is follow the post operative dietary restrictions to the line. Dont vary. They are there for a reason, I got bold and thought I would skip the rules twice and each time I regretted the move. That was the only bad thing I can say. the rest was a breeze.
