chronic abdominal pain behind navel, Gastro has said gluten intolerance. Gluten free diet has not helped. Colonoscopy shows no problems. Dehabilitating pain behind navel. I've had it for over one year at least 4 days a week on gluten free diet. I live in a small town and no Gastro Dr's can seem to diagnose. I am 45 year old female, large build but not extremely over weight. I get very bloated by end of the day. Frequent diarrhea. Previous endometriosis, but none I am aware of currently, also irregular menstrual cycle. Should I see an internist? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

did you ever find an answer to this? my 10 year old has had the same issue for 14 months, with no answers. she also can't eat solid food without pain. any ideas would be helpful.
