Sour Taste in mouth - only when i breathe deeply and no bad breath
Hi for around a month now I have been having this awful tasting taste come into the same part of my mouth everytime I breathe deeply (sigh, yawn, simply take deeper breaths). Its feels like the breath activates it.
I was vegetarian until last week when I discovered I was b12 deficient and I am working on my dietary intake due to health symptoms. I dont feel my digestion is great I am often constipated and bloated and have flatulent regularly. This taste began prior to my dietary change.
What could be happening for this to happen?
Also around 6 months ago I found a 2 foot tapeworm in my stools.

Sounds like a symptom of sinusitis, dysosmia - the medical word for bad odor in taste or smell. Anything that dries out your sinus (dehydration, Benedryl, mouth breathing) can make the smell worse.
My goodness, what did you do about the tapeworm?! Could whatever treatment you received cause this as a side effect?

Hi Auntie,
I will look further into the nose conditions you said, thank you!
Regarding the tapeworm I never got any treatment, I thought maybe as it was dead my being vegetarian for many years have killed it off. A bit stupid I know. Im going to mention it to the nurse next week anyway.
