| Re: aloe vera juice, L-glutamine & (green) clay
Hi, some people seem to find aloe vera juice effective for digestive disorders. I did not find it made any difference to me when I tried it for about 2 months.
L-Glutamine is supposed to be very good at healing the gastric mucosa, and I know several people who have found it very helpful. Unfortunately when I tried it I found I could not tolerate it, and it made my symptoms worse, as well as causing me to feel nauseous.
My gastroenterologist's opinion of clays is that they are harsh on the gut and can wipe out the bowel's population of good bacteria.
