H Pylori & Reflux - chest and back pain? Help please.

Hello everyone,

Can someone please tell me if chest and back pain is common with H-Pylori? I seem to suffer this pain quite abit and along with reflux it can be quite unbearable. Earlier this year I was prescribed quadruple therapy twice and it didn't eradicate the pylori. I was taking Pariet for a while and this kind of helped but then the pain started again and now I'm on Somac 40mg. I've had an ECG and Heart Stress test and both tests were fine. Liver, Kidney, Pancreas and full blood count also were fine. Recently had an endoscopy and no ulcer was found. Not sure what to do now? What can I do to alleviate this pain? Also, I find sometimes the pain can also be triggered if I burp. Can anyone help me? Thank you.

You could be having esophageal spasms. They can cause the pain in your chest and back. Try taking a muscle relaxer.
