getting strange stomach pains everytime i eat
For the past few days I've been getting really bad stomach pains every time i eat- snack, meal, it doesn't seem to matter. I'm a very a healthy eater- I'm a vegan so I don't eat meat or animal products (dairy, eggs, etc.) and a nutritionally conscious vegan to boot. My diet the past few days has been nothing far from the norm and all very healthy- nothing really that I would consider a trigger food (acidic, bitter, heavy, etc) though I've been looking out for them. The pain is very uncharacteristic of any stomach ache I've had before- it's almost like the feeling you get when you over eat (even though this has been happening after even small quantities of food) only its in the upper region of my stomach- around or maybe just under the esophageal sphincter (kind of where you'd expect to get heart burn pains, but it doesn't run up my esophagus and it's more of a pain then a burning). It's been happening pretty much every time I eat and yesterday and today I've been careful about trying different kinds of foods and different quantities- but it seems to be irrelevant. At times I've been suspicious of some sort of knotting or kinking of the GI tract around the esophagus or stomach- but I really have no idea. My bowl movemnts have been pretty normal, I haven't had excessive gas, and there hasn't really been much nausea (and no vomiting). Any ideas? I've also been experiencing mild headaches the past few days- maybe unrelated but you never know!
