Golf ball size swelling in abdomen for a few seconds
A strange thing has happened to me and I wonder if anybody can shed some light on it.
On a couple of occasions while just laying in bed, after waking up, what I can best desribe as a swelling the size of a golf ball occurred located in my lower abdomen not far from the right hip. It came and went in a few seconds, and there was no pain. Made me think it was feces or gas passing along in the large intestine, but why this tempoary golf ball like swelling?

I would imagine if it were gas or bowels expanding an area that large there would be some sort of pain or you would pass gas. Perhaps look up symptoms for a tape worm? I don't mean to scare you but this seems really abnormal.

I have been sick for over a month. Same thing...my stomach will bloat til I look like I'm pregnant, it's horrible. I also have chronic nausea. Today I had an endoscope, it showed that my stomach was really red/irritated and I had a biopsy done.
Have you tried any of the drugs like Nexium? Have you had an ultrasound?

hmmmm...I get the same thing,but more towards the middle of my stomach a feww inches above my navel.Like you said it is the size of a golf ball...I can feel it sweel up and if I push down on it just slightly it goes back down.I think it's gas.I don't get any pain with it,but my drs. sending me for an abdominal CT scan this week...so I'll find out if there's anything funny going on in there.

Okay, so very embarassing but this same thing happened to me and I had an MRI on that area and your first guess was right ((poop)) lol... That is exactly what it was, you will be fine, I assure you =0)
