I'll make this as brief as possible. Had my gallbladder removed in December. Still having issues that my doctor suspects may be a hiatal hernia and acid reflux. Seeing a GI doctor Tuesday about this.

Symptoms: abdominal tenderness, burping, hiccups, chest discomfort, some slight nausea

The weird thing is I keep getting back aches that I'm wondering if it is/isn't related to the stomach issues. Several weeks back I consumed an alcoholic beverage and ended up with a really bad cramp in the upper portion of my back immediately afterward. It has continued to ache off an on since then at different times. Sometimes right after eating and sometimes hours later on an empty stomach. Feels like a slight muscle strain but I've done nothing at all to aggravate it and the ache is not constant. Any thoughts?

sounds like either an Ulcer Or gastritis to me. I have Gastritis and my symptoms were/ Are:
Upper abdominal pains, right below my left ribs toward the middle of stomach
Belching,
Hiccups
sometimes a burning feeling in my stomach

Sometimes my back Did hurt too But I do have Fibromylgia so i'm not sure what my back was hurting From. kwim? Either the Gastritis Or the Fibro.

I have the same thing for the last 2 years after my gallbladder was removed. I have nausea like a hour or two after a meal. Burping like crazy, chest discomfort, and back pain like crazy. Back pain could be the muscles getting tense because of the gas in the stomach. I get the same cramp. Do you ever get pain in the upper right rib area? Do you take anything to absorb the bile because the bile sits in your stomach from not having a gallbladder and then the bile can cause gastritis.
