Lower abdominal pain + high absolute and relative eosinophils
I've had left lower abdominal pain (right under my ribs) for two weeks now. A couple of days ago I started getting the same pain on my right side under my ribs, and on the side to back area (essentially right across from the spot on my abdomen). The spot on my back hurts when I press on it. Aside from the soreness, I only get this pain after I eat. It lasts anywhere from thirty minutes to a few hours. The pain is not excrutiating, more of an ache. I threw up and had very watery stool last Wednesday and Thursday after eating but that has not returned. My blood pressure has also been lower than normal. Normally I'm around 120/80. Lately I've been at 100/70 and 104/62.
On my blood test results the only abnormal results are
White Blood Count - 11.6 (range 4.0 to 11.0)
Eosinophils Relative - 11.5 (range 0.0 to 5.0 percent)
Eosinophils Absolute - 1.3 (range 0.0 to 0.6)
Other results that are borderline low or high are: BUN (borderline high), Creatinine (borderline low) and, Lymphocytes Relative (borderline low).
I have no other symptoms except some nausea. I have not lost any weight, my stool is only slightly soft right now, and I'm not sick as far as I can tell. I'm calling my doctor tomorrow and will schedule the Upper GI Barium test and small bowel follow through. Any other thoughts?
