evand Newbie (male) Join Date: Oct 2011 Location: los angeles, CA, USA Posts: 4	question about Ulcers, gastritis and H. pylori Is it possible to have an ulcer or gastritis without testing positive via blood for the H. pylori bacteria? I have continuous bloating and nausea due mostly the gas build up and need to burp to relieve it, going on two and a half months now. accompanied with loss of appetite. I can't get but about an hours sleep at night due to having to sit up and burp. I tested negative for the bacteria and can't get back for my endoscopy for two weeks.
