Unhappy totally discouraged

after open sigmoid resection surgery 4 yrs ago for diverticulitis, I have continued to have recurrent attacks of diverticulitis... now facing threat of more surgery.. am i a fool to consider it when i was told that the initial surgery would cure my problem ??

If you do have recurring diverticular problems after surgery, I would get a new gastro doctor!!
And, ifit is true get a surgeon that does laproscopic surgery. Also,take more soluble fiber in your diet -like psyllium seed husk powder.

I use the psyllium powder from the Vitamin Shoppe that is mixed with water.
It will bulk up your stool and help to clean your colon out with BMs.
