dont understand what is going on
I have had this problem for awhile now yet recently in the past 3 months its been getting even worse and now unbearable. If I eat, don't eat, drink, don't drink, sit, stand, whatever I have to burp. If I hold it in I can feel it building up in my stomach and it gets painful and looks like I'm bloated and makes gas like gurgling sounds. I counted for an hour once after eating and I burped 74 times... I got really tired of counting after that. This is a daily 24/7 occurrence tho. I am currently pulling an all nighter for an exam and ate a greek salad at 7:30pm, started burping at around 9:30pm, because I was holding it in, and its 10:00am and the burping hasn't even slowed down. I finally went to the doctor about a month ago and she wanted to test to see if something was wrong with my stomach acid and put me on Omeprazole for a month. I am almost done with the bottle and the medicine did absolutely nothing. I can't stand this anymore, its embarrassing. I haven't changed my diet, I don't gulp air or drink pop and I am not lactose intolerant so I don't understand whats going on!
I haven't had the best track record this past year however. December '10 I got a cold that didn't go away. It then turned into pneumonia and didn't go away after medication and turned into bronchitis which I had for a long time and then it proceeded to return a second time. After that it felt like I had no immune system because I caught more sicknesses: strep throat, pink eye, and a couple urinary tract infections. Then in May '11 I had a horrible experience discovering that I had multiple kidney stones in both my left and my right kidneys. (runs in the family along with a ton of different kinds of cancers, but I'm only 19..) On a Friday I had my first kidney stone incident and was at the hospital that day and the docs found a 4mm stone and other little ones. Then on Sunday (yes 2 days later) I had another kidney stone incident and went to the hospital to find that the 4mm stone broke up into a million pieces. They decided to keep me overnight, however with the amount of pain medication (diloded and something else) in my system I started having chest pains and came to find out my BP was 46/something, I cant remember because my mom was freaking out, and I then had to have my heart monitored all night. During the kidney stones discovery they also found a benign growth of relative size on one of my kidneys. Then this summer I ironically got a couple colds and caught a virus that lasted about a month.
I don't know or understand whats going on, but if someone could please help me it would be greatly appreciated!
