I would think its more likely your Hiatal-Hernia causing your pain.
I have one and get pain at times, it also causes shortness of breath.
I take Nexium but it does not cause pain.
Ar/Gerd will cause pain at times. Try your post on the Acid Reflux site, there may be others that can help.
