can someone point me in the right direction?

I have had stomach issues for years the list of foods I can no longer eat grows often. Mostly acidic, oily, typical gall bladder attack foods.

Last week, I had an attack so severe I ended up in the ER. Stabbing pains around and above my belly button, and frequent kicks in my GB area. Nausea.

cat scan and ultrasound showed no gb issues, or anything for that matter. The only thing significant was elevated whitecell count. This pain was so bad dilauded didn't touch it.

These attacks started 30 years ago, I have had maybe 8 of them.

Went for follow up with my family doc today. He doesn't think it's GB he mentioned a rare disorder that runs in families. He said the only way to detect it is through urine tests, which he ordered stat. I get an upper gi and small bowel test on monday.

My question is can anyone tell me what this might be? I cannot find anything thanks in advance
