I was weight restored from 91-109 (now weigh 105) and went through laxative withdrawal with the help of my gastro.
I really, really suggest that you tell them because there are some problems like gastric delay that could occur. (It feels like the food is just sitting in your stomach for hours. This feeling could lead to anxiety etc.. ) Also, eating more and gaining weight is going to make you feel so tired. This could cause you to want to fall asleep right after eating which could cause acid reflux. There are other symptoms like cold chills and night sweats that could occur. They can probably prescribe something to replace the diuretics.
You could write what you want to say and give it to the doc. when you meet him/her. The gastro can't do his/her job if they aren't getting the whole picture.
