Hi Twisted Metal, for about 15 or more years, my stomach wouldn't growl, and when I was hungry I'd get the worst pain that started in the middle near my diaphragm and gradually get worse and travel up and around my shoulders to my back. Well, they took my gall bladder out and it didn't change a thing. Years later, I went back to the emergency room and they said my esophagus is going into spasms and treated me with something that I didn't continue with. I didn't have insurance... But my stomach still doesn't growl!!!!! It does cramp up a bit and the way to relieve any pain put pressure with your right hand (finger or thumb) onto your wrist about 1 inch from the bend in your hand and press. This relieves any pain or nausea due to stomach issues. I know this is long, but it's my story that will hopefully help you or someone else. Good luck!
