| Epigastric Pain & Sudden Dark Hair
Hello,
I've been having some epigastric pain that seems pretty classic of an ulcer and acid reflux, which I have a history of. I first started taking Zantac twice a day and it initially seemed to help. Last week it started to get a little worse and if I leaned forward or layed a certain way, it felt like there was a pebble slightly above and just to the left of my belly button. So I figured I was probably feeling the actual ulcer and decided I needed to add a daily dose of Prevacid. After just two doses I started feeling better.
Yesterday I noticed I have new black hair on my stomach and what I find peculiar is that it's in the exact same pattern of my pain - just above the belly button and going left along the belly button. Is this just a coincidence or is this something I should be concerned about? Maybe some cells are dying from whatever is causing my pain and maybe it's not my ulcer bugging me? I do also have gallstones but they've been relatively under control and I don't really feel like my gallbladder or liver are inflamed.
