help! VERY frequent loose bowel movements.
i have been having this issue for roughly 10 years now. almost immediately after eating, i have a strong urge to have a bowel movement, and even between meals this happens, up to 5 times per day. my stool is always very loose, sometimes just regular old diarrhea. i spoke to a dietician recently who told me that this could be caused by a lack of protein in my diet, and she suggested that i include protein at every meal. this makes sense to me for losing weight, but i am not sure it would be beneficial to my digestive issue. i should point out that i am twice the weight i should be for my height, which raises more questions. if i am digesting my food so quickly, wouldn't it make sense that i would be thin? i don't understand. any idea of what else could possibly be going on? advice?
