Gastritis

I had a stomach scope and was just diagnosed with moderate gastritis and mild esophagitis. I feel terrible and don't know what to eat.
I'm now on Protonix once a day and Zegrid once a day.
I also started taking Mastica twice a day.
Anyone else have any other suggestions?????? Please????

Re: Gastritis

I'm sorry to hear that.

Diet can help with gastritis. Try to avoid foods that are spicy or acidic, and aim for lower fat. I find that bread is a good option. Egg whites, also, and cooked vegetables or fish with a mild sauce, maybe some rice.

Taking the amino acid L-Glutamine may help your stomach heal. The drugs should help, but they might take a month or two.

Thanks so much for the recommendation. What would be the dosage?
Thank you! :)

Re: Gastritis

I get the powdered form and dissolve 1 teaspoon in water every day.
