FrustratedinNY Newbie (male) Join Date: Mar 2012 Location: Here Posts: 1	Constipation/Sore after rectal exam I went to the hospital 5 days ago with blood on the stool and stomach pains. They did blood work, gave me a GI cocktail, and a rectal exam. Since that day I've felt constipated, or if I do pass stools they are small and narrow and only a very small amount. Can a rectal exam cause impaction or something? I felt really sore the first couple days after it. I have an anxiety disorder, so I'm getting a little nervous.
