Low Gastrin? Achlorhydria(no stomach acid?)
So I stopped making stomach acid 3 years ago. Then, I got tested for helibactor Pylori and it was negative by blood test. Now after suppilmenting stomach acid, HCL and recovering a lot of health, we tested my antibodies for my parietal cells, and the were considered negative. If NSAID abuse, asprin/anti-inflammatories were to blame, I should likely have ulcer issues(major stomach sensitivity). But I don't. I started to read about gastrin, and how gastrin is what the body makes that calls my stomach acid cells(glands) parietal they are called to make acid. So i wonder if I have gastrin insufficiency? Does anyone have any more info. or knowledge of gastrin? Or if it can fail completely and then quit calling for the stomach acid to be made, so a person has completely lack of stomach acid?
*Waiting for the gastro appointment in 6 weeks.
