 Having lots frightening symptoms
Hey everyone, I'm new here. I am a very long term sufferer of GI problems. I have been reading around the internet constantly the last week and came across this site. I have been having alot of mixed digestive problems that have gotten considerably worse the last 1 to 2 weeks. Main ones are: LOTS of dirrahea sometimes with blood, constant stomach pain (especially after meals), extreme pain in anus, debalitating fatigue and exhaustion, painful cramps that worsen when I have to pass a BM. I haven't had a normal bowel movment in weeks. My doctor says I developed hemmorhoids as a result of constant dirrahea. He ran blood work, and urine tests for the usual problems and everything was normal, like always. He gave me a suppository steroid for the hemmorhoids, took it for 2 weeks and no improvment. I saw a GI specialist who didn't hesitate to schedule a colonoscopy and endoscopy for tomorrow. He is concerned I may have Colon Cancer or Crohn's Disease. Between the pain in my rectum and my stomach pains, I have been bed ridden most of the time. I have seen bight red blood in my stool several times now and I just passed this really weird red, oblong shaped object in myool. There were also bright red specs of blood. I was so freaked out that I took a picture & I'm going to post it so hopefully someone will i.d. it for me. This was NOT a pill I took or food I ate, that I am absolutley positive about. I was forced to quit my job recentley because of all this and it is ruining my social life.
Additional Details: My grandma was diagnosed with colon cancer 10yrs ago. Greasy, sugary foods and alcohol tend to make everything worse, the pain is usually in the lower half of my stomach. If anyone can help me identify what this might be PLEASE let me know. This is getting so out of control that I'm loosing sleep and I am EXTREMELY stressed and worried.
