Stool changes...

Hi. A little bit of history before I ask my question...1 year ago I had c-diff from an antibiotic. I recovered from it after a month...never had any problems since then. 2 weeks ago I started having horrible abdominal cramps and diarrhea (sorry TMI!). This lasted 7 days. The GI doctor treated it as a c-diff relapse from a stomach bug and treated with vancomycin.

So here we are on day #5 of no diarrhea, but my bm's are not normal. Once a day and there seems to be a lot of undigested food in them. I've had to do stool samples for c-diff tests so I've had to see the stool up close. YUCK! lol!

What would be the cause of the undigested food?

Thanks for reading all of this! I'd appreciate any advice you can give :-)

It's most likely insoluable fiber in your diet. That's not a bad thing necessarily.
