Blood in stool

i noticed bright red blood in my stool today after a bowel movement. it wasn't a whole lot, but noticeable. i have no pain anywhere, not even during the bowel movement. i have been on a prescription-strength ibuprofen for gout, so i know that can be hard on the stomach. do you think that has anything to do with the blood in the stool?

should i go to the doctor about this immediately, or wait to see if it is recurring?

Re: Blood in stool

Blood from any where alway needs attention
Red blood is probably caused by the beginning of a hemerrhroid -- you should start using psyllium fiber to help have good gentle BMs.

The treatment for Gout is not a pain killer!!
