| Worse upper ab pain after treatment for Helicobacter pylori
I had endoscope recently and they only found Helicobacter pylori bacteria. I took triple antibiotics for 7 days and had been expecting my tummy troubles to maybe improve, but its nearly a week since I finished and Im having worse pain then ever, actually it's not hugely painful just bloated and very tender to touch. Radiates into my back. I went back onto gluten prior to scope so they could check for celiacs but I don't think gluten is the cause. Antibiotics? I'm taking probiotics. I think my gastro and colonoscopy have ruled out anything too sinister I think my diagnosis is just ibs but why worse after I've eradicated helio??
I don't see the specialist for another 5 weeks so just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience?
