have you seen your family doctor yet? sounds like you have irritable bowel syndrome, but at your age it's not as common. you should visit your gp and they will probably want to send you for a lower gastrointestinal test. by the way...we all have mucous in our bowels, but if you're having all mucous, it's because you're bound up. when you can't go....try taking an over the counter laxative with a stool softener in it. only take it until you clear your bowel out. it's not to be taken for any more than a week. i usually take 2 senekot before bed for about 2 to 3 nights and that clears it up for me. hope this helps, but you should see your doctor. almost forgot....you might try eating more fiber. sometimes we don't get enough...sometimes we get too much, depending on what we eat. try researching foods with fiber and the daily amount required for someone your age. i'm not sure, but i think it might be 24-28 grams per day. let me know if any of this makes a difference. i feel for you, believe me. my intestines are all inflamed from my sjogrens and every time i eat anything...i'm in pain for 2 hours....geesh!! lol.
