Usually ulcers cause stools to be "black" instead of red with blood because the blood gets broken down by the acids in your stomach. The bleeding you're getting is probably an internal hemorroid or polyp since it is bright red. Your other symptoms still warrant a visit to a gastrologist if they are regular and bother you...He or she can also check for your "blood" problem also to find out where it is coming from...The Doc may schedule you for a colonoscopy and or EGD test if the reasons aren't apparent for your symptoms.
