| Post EGD pain help please.
Had an EGD done, doctor took a biopsy sample from my duodenum. I am having some pain in my upper right abdomen, it's a pain that comes and goes. Lasts a couple seconds then stops. Wondering if this is normal. Does it hurt from the sample taken? Is it pain from the air pumped into me? I also feel sort of sick like a general sick feeling but this didn't start for 12+ hours after the procedure. Any advice on how long this may last or why it's happening would be appreciated.
Additional information: he took a piece for biopsy from my duodenum because he said mine didn't have as many folds as a normal one, and he said this indicated celiac disease. Should I try starting gluten free tomorrow? Or stick to just anything like I have been? Thanks all!
