Intestinal parasites?

I have all the symptoms of having intestinal parasites, but i was diagnosed with celiac disease 3 months ago. Ive been gluten free since and many synptoms went away or gotten better but some havent. I went to the restroom and i always keep think thinking i see worms in my poop but i was never sure?

I have celiac too. Been GF since 2009. I was getting sicker however. After many hospital visits I found out in 2011 that I have SIBO/SBBO. Been on SCD Specific Carbohydrate Diet since Nov 2011 and its done WONDERS for me!

The worm looking things may be mucus. I thot I had worms too but it was CRAZY gut mucus from my intestines being so inflamed inside. With dietary changes, the mucus went away after a few months of SCD. Hence, no more "worms".

Whatever the case, I wish you the best. Been down that road myself. Hence the nickname. Haha.

Re: Intestinal parasites?

You could always start doing some holistic anti-parasite stuff that doesn't interfere with your gluten free diet. They say pumpkin seeds are a great natural anti-parasite...a handful 2 x a day for a couple weeks.
