Food in vomit from almost 24 hours before

Hi guys,
I'm a almost-30-year-old, and I'm usually pretty healthy, but had a weird problem the other day, I felt quite sick and threw up.
This isn't what I'm concerned about however: the thing that worries me is that I had a couple of chunks of chicken that I had eaten the previous night for dinner, which at that point would have been nearing 24 hours previously.
I have no real other major health problems, and afaik, this is the first time this has happened..

Should I be concerned at all? What might have caused this? Is this normal?

Cheers,
Sam
