Reconsideration?? - Disabilities Message Board

just how long does it take to hear an answer from disability when you have sent in all of the reconsideration paperwork?God, i am soooo hoping that with all of the new and improved documentation of the injuries incurred during my surgery that they will finally recognize all of my pain and impairments as 'real" .The last desicion was such a total joke.keep those positive thoughts.marcia

Everyone's case is different. My husband was denied initially in Oct. It took til March to get him into a SS doctor, the doctor then had 30 days to put in their recommendation and reconsideration was approved the end of May. I know of people who's reconsideration took much longer and those that it took much less time.
