Contacted 3 days after application! - Disabilities Message Board

Well I am not sure if this is a good sign or not. I applie for SS at the beginning of this week and was callled yesterday for a phone interview. I was also told how much i will recieve monthly if i am approved. I was told by the rep that he thinks I qualify and should hear somthing in the next couple months as to the status of my claim. I must say i was very shocked because I have read what everyone else has gone through. I am praying I get it. I was happy though the process so far is working in my favor!

That's good news for you.....They will now send it for medical review. The medical reviewer will send you some forms to fill out by you and another person. The forms will ask how you feel and how the condition is limiting your ability to function. Be honest and answer the questions as if it was one of your worse days.

Completely agree with countrykid - that's the same that happened with me in that stage of the process.
