First, log on to [url="http://www.ssa.gov"]www.ssa.gov[/url] and request their booklet explaining benefits while working.

There is a limit to how much you can earn per month without losing some or all of your benefits. This limit changes each year. When I was working, the limit was $700, if I remember right. Anything over the limit will reduce your benefits.
