Andrea~

How cruel that these things even invade your sleep. God Bless You Big.

I wish so badly that I could take that from you.

I hope you manage to have a good weekend and your pain lessens. I pray for calm and peace for you. You are certainly worthy of it.

Take Care, and claim some joy

~Teri

hey

thank you sooooo much! ((((hugs))) thankfully that doesnt happen too often. its interesting b/c i cant seem to remember where i was dreaming i was. i wish i knew. it may have been the result of an "instant replay" if you will of last nights pt,seeing as how the attack was sooooooo bad( i told u about that right?) i think i did on the original thread. i feel so guilty about her frustration& then being forced to ask her to release her touch during future attacks.(see i never had to say that b/f b/c the last time i was faced with this much trouble in the same kinda situation where it occurred regularly was @ the chiro office& i didnt have to say it b/c his instincts are awesome& he figured that out on his own) did i mention she did a poor job of controlling the envt yesterday? she put me in a space off to the side within the exercise room vs. the back room wh a real door so that didnt help either.

i hope you are enjoying yr weekend. im bored to death.

Cool

Andrea~

I've been meaning to ask you, do you post on the Panic Disorders forum? I'm guessing that you do, Little Miss 3,749 posts, Senior Veteran

So you do not see the chiro anymore? Were his treatments different than what you're receiving now?

Maybe he needs to attend your PT some day and help your therapist with what he knows about you. It would be hard, I think, getting used to a new therapist all over again.

I had been thinking about starting a new thread myself. My!! We're really burning this forum up aren't we? I would like to see this forum become more active, and covering a broader range of issues. It seems to focus mainly on SS benefits, which is important discussion, but only a fraction of all the issues surrounding disabilities.....I guess it's up to you and me, girl.

What sorts of things do you do for enjoyment? I like to write short stories and poetry. I've had a couple of pieces published, but nothing major. I like to woodcarve, read, crochet, garden, crossword puzzles, and watch my son grow. Quiet stuff.

I used to be more physically active. Twice I've walked in 15 mile walkathons, and now I can barely walk to my car. Often the smallest and simplest of things can become monumental, if not impossible for me to do these days. I'm weary. And I know that you know exactly what I'm talking about.

I was in the workforce for 13 years. Two of them in a nursing home (my first-ever job). Another two in a sewing factory, then seven in a furniture factory, and two years with a roofing company. After my surgery in '87, I experienced a decline in strength and ability, forcing me into SSD. I since have returned to college and received a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work.

I counseled with young wards of the court in their foster homes for two years until this latest increase of symptoms became worrisome enough that I had to stop doing that until I could receive treatment for the tethered cord. I really miss my work and am anxious to see if I'll be able to return. If not, then I must get started on the next great American novel!

Okay, now, I've blathered enough. It's your turn, tell me something about yourself.

Teri
