Okay, that explains things a little better. I too, had disability through my employer and it ended at 24 months, just like yours did. I was drawing a minimum payment from mine, as I was receiving Social Security Disability too. I had been approved for both, but took the SSD because it was over $300 more a month than the benefit from my employer.
I'm starting to realize that this must be a fairly standard clause in these disability claims. When I first started with it, I didn't have a clue that LTD meant 24 months! To me, that's not long term!!
I guess the only thing I could tell you is to apply for SSD like I did and see if you can gain approval for that. Their monthly benefits are roughly what your maximum Social Security would be if you were retiring at age 65 (or 66 for most now). There is a five month waiting period, so you should have applied several months ago, assuming you haven't.
