Can anybody tell me how to find out when my benefits will be issued? I was given verbal notice at my hearing on 6/20/2007 and received my decision letter from the ALJ office dated 6/27/2007. I have been checking daily at my bank and still nothing. I even took a 5 day pay-or-quit notice from my landlord and they said it was faxed to the payment center (on 7/13). I have been told my file is at the payment center but no one can tell me when I will get my benefits. We had to skip paying our vehicle payment to make rent and now we are getting calls and 2 months behind so I'm worried about repo. Does anyone know someplace that can give me a straight answer on when I will get my back pay?

I just started the process, but I was told by the person who did my interview by phone, that if I was successful, I would receive my check on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. I think he said it was because of my birthday which is on the 15 th of the month. I asked him don't all checks go out at the same time of the month. He told me no they are sent out 4 times in the month depending on your birth day. Is your birthday late in the month?

Mine's on the 13th, I got a payment schedule paper from SSA that shows when payments are made. According to it, my payments should be received on the 3rd Wed as well. I'm hoping this doesn't mean I have to wait until next month to get my backpay. I'm on the verge of both eviction and repo.
