Payment Center Processing - Disabilities Message Board

My SSI has been processed.
I was told today that I'm just waiting on my SSDI to be finished being
processed. I was told that my SSDI has been at the PAYMENT CENTER
since 08/07/2007. This is the last stop before my backpay check is mailed.

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW LONG IT TAKES TO GET THRU
THE PAYMENT CENTER ?

My case is for a Closed Period, so it's just a matter of calculating the time perios I was awarded, and then printing a check.......Right?

Someone please help

I have no idea the time but mine is at the processing center as well. I have been told what my monthly check will be (under $375) and that in Sept I will get my first monthly check. And I was told the backpay usually gets to you around 60 days AFTER you receive the first monthly check. So I might see it in time for Xmas.

Right now, hubby & I are preparing to file BK because we just can't keep up anymore, even knowing it is just a few weeks more to wait. We are about to lose our vehicle and I would rather have a bankruptcy than a repo and owe money for a vehicle we don't have.
