hi just wondering if anyone ever been sent for to have a medical im new to this dose every one who cant work because of a medical condition have to go through this to get benefit

Are you talking about an IME ? Yes I have been to a few since I was injured at work. Don't worry about it...Just don't lie about anything. They just look you over and write a report on your condition. Mine was no biggy

The SSA sends you if they feel they don't have enough medical information. My husband went to one that lasted nearly two hours. It was a painful exam for him due to his particular problem.

The result was that their doctor said dh could not work due to his disability. He was denied benefits a week later.

OH MY GOD THATS AWFUL i will look forward to that then NOT who do thease people think they are playing god with peoples lifes they know nothing about did your hubby sort it out caza
