I finally broke down and called to see if the SS office has everything they need to make a decision in my case. I told the rep my name and she immediately said, "Oh, your case is with the doctor right now." I had figured she'd have to bring me up in her computer, or at least get my SS number or spell my name. Was this her regular answer she just gives everyone, or does she really know where each person's case is at all the time? I don't know wht to think, whether I should feel encouraged that things are progressing, or discouraged that they didn't even look me up. Maybe I'm making too much of this. Does your rep know who you are?
