I went to their doc(psychiatrist)and it wasnt very long after I got my letter.

I dont think anything was different from my initial application except time had passed..

I think if would have been off of work longer then I would have gotten it the first time around.
Im not sure, I do know on my first denial letter they didnt even have documets from my main 2 doctors, but from ones i seen years ago.

That ticked me off a little.(ok a lot)

So maybe they got a respnse from my other docs for the reconsideration.

Alot of states I think dont have a reconsideration phase like we do here in Indiana, mine they just went over my initial application, other states thats when you face a judge.

And if i remember correctly, they sent a letter to my therapist first to evaluate me, then i had to see their doctor.
you think i would remember it clearly since it was just a few months ago..lol.

But what I did differently after my denial was PRAY..lol..
and quit worrying.
I asked the Lord to let me receive it in Jan.
And he did. My paperwork says Jan 28th.
I know that may seem crazy, and my family was freaking out becuz i wasnt a nervous wreck, they were doing the worrying for me i guess.

but right when all my funds were gone, i opened my mail and there was my letter of award.
my family was shocked, and i dont think i blinked for a week.
now im waiting on my back pay, only for dec and jan...but its something.

So I dont know exactly what happened, All I do know is I prayed for whoever came in contact with my paperwork that God will open their eyes and see what the last person didnt.

And instead of praying in my head, I got on my knees every night and thanked God for giving it to me, and by the end of the week It was awarded.
I still get on my knees and pray, just to thank him cuz it is such a blessing!
