Do all cases have a Physchiatric report? - Disabilities Message Board

I'm asking because I'm currently waiting for a hearing and the list of exhibits they have is 15pgs of physc.(sp), I've never seen that type of DR.
I'm going to request copy of case, I will let you all know what happens

what is your disabliity? physical or mental health?
I thought that if one filed for disablitiy due to a mental health issue, that this is what they'd be seeking info on.
so you're saying that you have a physical disablity?

I would definetly call someone at the ssa office and find out the answer to your question.
they might be making a mistake. you never know.

Mine is more on the physical part but I did include memory issues. I gave examples w/ltr frm fomer co-wrkr re: I couldn't remember how to complete my job and how co-wrkr had to help me, etc.
I'm just wondering what is in thos 15 pgs. I did state I felt depressed due to my health when I filed for hearing. (who wouldn't be, after all this waiting

).

In dealing with SSA, one thing I found out is that There are doctor who are medicial doctors, and psych doctors. SSA sent me to one of them, he did x-rays, EKG, and other stuff, then he also did an psych exam.(by asking a few questions and mostly what was his obersvision (sp?) of me. what i was doing, did I get angry, did I seeam afraid, all that stuff. I think they sent me to him b/c the first psych doc I went to bascily supported my claim, (i later found out) and they used this guy to shoot him down. It is possible that where it came from in your file. You will know when you read your report.

Mine also had 2 reports of Physchiatric Docs.....one 15 pages and another 17 pages but I never saw one of these docs.....It says *form reports*.....I am assuming that it was taken from my doc records????

What I said in an office visit and what the doc said about me, maybe??? This is only a guess!!!

Mine was filed on back and shoulder problems due to an accident and failed back surgery....
