Court Date 400 days away......... - Disabilities Message Board

The atty. told me the court is about 400 days behind to get a hearing date. So another year of waiting. It is so ridiculous. He says I will win. I don't get why SS does not just approve us when they see all the medical evidence. Just because I am 43 I am automatically denied. What a waste of tax dollars. So I have to wait and will win in the end. It's really disgusting. I've been working since I am 13. It's not like I am trying to get away with working or anything. It is so frustrating. I know everyone is in the same boat. I'm just venting. I can't believe I have to wait another year. It will be rough.

Hessie, I am so sorry. I just called on mine and will write my own thread. I can't believe the things that go on with Social Security. It just is not fair.

I have some hopeful news for you. My husband and I hired a lawyer to get his disability approved after 2 denials. While waiting for our court date, our file was randomly pulled and approved! We should not have had a court date until later this year, but ended up getting approved in April. Watch your mail while waiting because they are doing this randomly to get some of the back-log taken care of. I wish you luck, I know how long this process be
