Hello, I think it is good that you are at the payment center but, not sure how much longer it will take. I had my hearing in Jan.,2008 and was approved May 6th.Got a letter on the 7th saying approved and have heard nothing since. I have called both the 800# and my local office and they both said my case is at the processing center in Baltimor,Maryland in process and has been there since May 13th. They said they have 60 days to contact you or send money. I think I should be close to my 60 days. I am in Indiana by the way.I started this process in Dec. 2004. A very long wait.Keeping my fingers crossed for you and everyone else in waiting. Good Luck!
I think the processing center and the payment center are the same but, not for sure.Maybe someone else out there knows if they are the same and how much longer before we might here from them..... Any responses greatly appreciated.. Donna
not sure any of you are still on here but how long did it take to actually get your money, the payment center said last week they would release it then and i'd have it this week.nothing yet though.
i got my money, backpay, that is, 9 days after approval. i live in ft worth, tx if that makes any diff. and it was my first time approval?
I received mine pretty quickly, too. I received a bench decision on 9/11/09, my written decision on 9/28/09, backpay last week and my daughters backpay today. I'm in Florida.
Good luck to those still waiting. It takes alot of stress off of you once things get finalized.
got my on the record approval letter 9-3-09, got my kids back pay 2 weeks later. still waiting on mine. hopefully soon. at least i started gettingmy monthly benefits oct 3.
