Moving w/ WC - New Dr?

Hello - I have WC in Georgia, for a spinal injury. I had surgery last year.

If I move out-of-state, do I HAVE to find a new spine dr in the new state?

Can I keep the one I have in Georgia? I know they have to pay travel expenses, but I don't know if they can FORCE me to find a new dr in my new state.

I would probably rather endure the pain of traveling than of finding new people all together.

So...can you choose to keep those you have, and travel?

Talking Re: Moving w/ WC - New Dr?

Hello Zinnias yes you can keep your doctor if you prefer. I to suffer with the back surgery issues and I'm also on WC out of NY. When I moved to NC I changed Docs because that ride would've been to much for me. They can't force you to change doctor's that's your choice. I hope that helps.
