| | "Fully favorable decision...."
This is a good thing I think, but does anyone have an opinion on this:
An SSI check was deposited into my account this morning. I called DDS to check on status of my SSDI claim, and she said it had been sent back to SSA with a fully favorable decision. I called SSA, and they said they had nothing on it.....
They did confirm that I had been "presumptively determined disabled", and would pay benefits for up to six months. When I told them that DDS had said it was approved, fully favorable/sent back to them, they had no idea what the status was and I would need to check back with them.
Is this where it sits on a desk for a few months, until someone inputs it?
And am I right, once it leaves DDS approved, it gets sent back to your local SSA office for work up....and if it were pulled for quality review, it would have been pulled at the DDS level?
Edit: Thirty minutes after posting this, I received a call from SSA stating that I had in fact been approved, and my benefits would start immediately!!!
